Privacy policy

What we collect

• Order data: name, shipping address, email, phone (optional), and the items you buy.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Shopify Payments and, where used, PayPal. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of your card, nothing more.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referral source, via cookies and analytics.
• Marketing preferences: whether you opted into emails.

Why we collect it

To fulfil and ship your order, send order updates, handle returns and support, prevent fraud, meet tax and accounting obligations, and, only with consent, send marketing emails you can leave at any time.

Who we share it with

Our payment processors, our fulfilment partners and carriers (shipping fields only: name, address, item, quantity), our email provider, and analytics providers. Each acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years). Marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated or deleted within 26 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (the New Zealand Privacy Act, GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and others) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Ask by email at buckride@outlook.com and we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local privacy regulator.

International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
